This policy explains what we do with the personal information you give us. Thread Vein Removal Cambridge is the trading name for the thread vein service delivered by Shannon Dry Aesthetics at Upper Cambourne, CB23 6EP. Last updated 29 August 2026.
What we collect
If you fill in the enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address and whatever you write in the message box. That last field is free text, so please do not put anything in it you would not want held on record. We do not ask for medical details through the website.
If you go on to book a consultation, a separate and more detailed health record is taken in the clinic. That record is held by Shannon Dry Aesthetics under its own retention and confidentiality arrangements and is not part of this website.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry. This is the only reason the form exists. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you asked us a question and expect a reply.
- To keep a record of what was asked and answered, so that if you come back to us months later the conversation makes sense.
- Site analytics. Aggregate visit statistics, used to understand which pages people find useful.
What we do not do with it
We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to third parties for marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry. If we ever want to email you about anything other than your own enquiry, we will ask you first.
Who can see it
Enquiries are read by Shannon Dry Aesthetics. The data sits on this website’s hosting and inside the form plugin’s storage, and our hosting and email providers can technically access it in the course of running those services. They act on our instructions and not for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Website enquiries are kept for two years from your last contact with us, then deleted. If you become a client, your clinical record is kept for longer under the retention periods that apply to treatment records, and that is covered by the clinic’s own policy rather than this one.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email or call using the details on the contact page and we will deal with it within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
